Summer of the Soul

It's Christmas Eve! Meaning it will probably be a long time until anyone looks at this - but I'm trying to get one post per month so here we are.
Non-Christmasy Things to talk about:

I absolutely LOVE English class. I have a ridiculous amount of fun doing anything English-related.

Before School ended I was treating my spare as a second English period. Almost everyone I know with the same spare as me has English this semester and I really like talking to them about it. I've spent so many periods reading and editing essays but I didn't mind in the least!

I have a culminating activity I'm going to get working on after Christmas and some short stories to read too.

I'm doing really well too, better than ever before. It seriously has me thinking of the possibility of continuing with it as part of my profession in the future - I would definitely have fun I think. Who knew reading essays could be so much fun?

At the same time, though, I worry that I wouldn't get a sturdy or meaningful job - I wanna do the world some good so I was looking into some sort of occupation in medicine. I'll be keeping my options open - that's for sure.

I can't think of any other not-Christmasy thing I wanna talk about soo...

I love Christmas - Love it, LOVE it! I'm so excited for everyone being together today. I can't wait!

So as per usual my gifts are... questionable, I guess. My way of shopping is look around everywhere and by the best thing that reminds you of the person.

This is a kinda crappy method because I'm often reminded of the person because they already HAVE what I buy them. (O_O) Whoops! Oh well, it's the thought that counts, right?

My purchased gifts aside, I'm SO excited to give out my home-made gifts! I worked on them for much longer than I thought I would. The two I thought would be the lamest are the coolest - Yay!

I had been feeling so crappy trying to come up with an idea. I was asking everyone for ideas. Jess McA kept telling me I should do maccaroni art, the tool, but then she actually suggested something good. Then Jamie Charron from school gave me the last idea I needed to get moving. With Dad's help and some work I created something I'm really happy with. I hope everyone like's it!

I love watching Christmas Specials and listening to Christmas music. The Christmas List on playlist.com is the coolest idea ever! My favourite song right now is "Feels Like Christmas" from the Muppet's Christmas Carol.

When it comes to Christmas stories The Nutcracker is one of my favourites. I looked into it and there was a film released this year in the UK called Nutcracker - The Untold Story, or something. I REALLY wanna see it!

Anyway, I wanna go hang out with my brother so I'll probably see you all next month... make that year actually, Haha!

Thanks for reading! <3
