Good Morning from the Herstmonceux Castle Reading Room

I have about five minutes before I'm supposed to be in the ballroom but the janitor who found me exploring by myself was so kind as to take me here that I thought I'd use the time as best I could.

I'm living in a castle. It's exactly as labyrinthine as you'd expect. Yesterday a group of us trying to collect our laptops wandered corridor after corridor, staircase after staircase, to find the Computer Tech's office. We finally got the right directions from someone pointing through the windows to the other end of the castle where we needed to be and explaining the route.

One of the coolest rooms we found while exploring looks to me like an old carrier pigeon room.

Well I'd best be off for now I'll complete this later.

You should post what time it is in the UK when you write this because it says you wrote it at 1 in the morning!
What a nice janitor. You should become friends. Did you know this is your first blog post in all of 2010?

  2. I was hoping that you would be wondering more now that you are wandering more. Keep up the blogging when you have a little more time (HA! time...)
